Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse is sought for a facility located in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing high-acuity obstetric care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The position requires delivering exceptional patient care, including assisting with high-risk deliveries and neonatal care, with flexibility to float between units as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week, start date 07/20/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, and AWHONN Intermediate; 3 years of experience in high-acuity obstetric environments; must have current proofs of required certifications; location requirements are within Seattle, WA; within last 3 years, at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring; completed high-risk labor and delivery cases; previous experience in high-risk, high-volume Labor and Delivery units.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required between postpartum and antepartum units, including sister facilities supporting mother/baby care.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years, including charge or lead RNs. Must circulate during deliveries, provide neonatal care including eyes, thighs, assessments, and administer injections such as Vit K. Experience with high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, and obstetric emergency procedures is required. The unit is comprised of high-risk, high-volume obstetrics with four operating rooms, supporting diverse patient diagnoses including midwifery clients, private OBs, and community clinics supporting substance recovery.
