ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift Options: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Overtime will be required as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of server appliances and related electronic equipment. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Please note: This position requires extensive standing and walking throughout the workday, as well as regularly lifting servers in and out of testing racks.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble and re-assemble products according to process documentation and manufacturing procedures.
• Test and troubleshoot server appliances down to the sub-assembly level.
• Diagnose issues and identify root causes of problems.
• Lift servers in and out of testing racks on a consistent basis.
• Organize work to meet product delivery requirements and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot systems using knowledge of Windows, Linux, BIOS, and firmware.
• Track testing and troubleshooting results using internal systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Verify products are at the latest revision and configured according to the BOM and process requirements.
• Analyze incoming RMA systems to determine whether failures are hardware or software related.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve production issues and assist with process documentation and labor standards.
• Follow proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Report to work on time and maintain reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department head.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years of experience in the PC/server or electronics industry preferred.
• Familiarity with operating systems and firmware, including BIOS, FFRU, SDR, and BMC.
• General understanding of manufacturing systems and processes.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Assembly Operator Certification is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to prepare basic reports and business correspondence.
• Strong basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to define problems, gather information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
