Assembly Line Operator

Location: Roswell, GA Schedule: M-F 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Job Description:

• Position and assemble parts according to work instructions.
• Measure parts to specified tolerances.
• Record parts in ERP system as required.
• Inspect all parts for cleanliness and flaws.
• Clean, assemble, disassemble, and replace parts as required.
• Ensure that glass is clean and free from smudges, debris, particulates, and grease.
• Use chemicals, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints, and ink as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure ongoing inventory of needed daily supplies such as cotton swabs, toothpicks, alcohol, acetone, glues, adhesives, cleaning wipes, paints, etc.
• Keep production supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress throughout each shift.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to work well with others/excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work with small electronic parts.
• Ability to paint various small parts.
• Packaging/Shipping experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Time management skills
• Past assembly experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, occasionally as much as 25 pounds.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of work experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
