Apparel Production Coordinator

Role Description We are seeking a full-time Production Coordinator to join our team on-site in Monterey Park, CA. This role involves overseeing the production process, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Responsibilities also include tracking approval timelines, costing, and collaborating across teams to ensure smooth operations within the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Participate in the full production cycle from seasonal buy review through final bulk delivery Review seasonal buys and approve purchase orders with overseas vendors Communicate daily with factories to track T&A calendar Approve L/Ds, S/Os, and bulk trim submissions Negotiate development and production costing with overseas vendors Coordinate with internal design, technical design, and sales teams to ensure smooth work flow and proactively address any delays Troubleshoot and resolve production or delivery issues with factories Ensure accuracy of production documentation, POs, and ERP system updates Track fit approvals, sample status, and production milestones Coordinate shipment schedules with logistics and shipping teams Maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring accountability on deadlines and quality Qualifications 8–10 years of experience in apparel production (import experience required) Strong knowledge of garment production lifecycle from development to delivery Proficient in ERP systems (Apparel Magic, Aims360, or similar preferred) Proficient in PLM systems (Centric, Blue Cherry, or similar preferred) Working knowledge of fabric and fit Proven ability to independently manage teams and problem-solve issues Experience working with overseas vendors and factories Strong negotiation skills, especially in costing and production timelines Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Production, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) #J-18808-Ljbffr
