Our client is a medium-sized CPA Firm located on the West Coast that is looking for a 100% remote Tax Senior. This position will report to the Tax Principal and be responsible solely for preparing and reviewing tax returns. Job Details
Responsibilities
- Prepare income tax returns accurately and efficiently for a diverse range of clients, ensuring compliance and maximizing tax benefits.
- Review tax returns prepared by other team members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to tax laws.
- Collaborate with the team on various projects and initiatives, fostering a positive and productive remote work environment.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of public accounting experience with a strong background in tax.
- Deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, focusing on income tax preparation and review.
- CPA is a plus but not required; candidates without a CPA must demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data.
- Effective communication skills to explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
