Our Home is one of the fastest growing Better For You food brands in the country and this explosive growth requires great people with a passion for better-for-you snacks.The Warehouse/Inventory Manager oversees a team of 4-6 employees across multiple shifts and coordinates daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, inventory control, cycle counts, and securing the warehouse. The Warehouse/Inventory Manager reports to the Plant Manager and assures goals are met safely, accurately, and consistently following GMP protocols. This includes completing necessary documentation and reports in a thorough, accurate and timely manner. The Warehouse/Inventory Manager is responsible for supporting, training, and coaching of employees and ensuring a motivated, challenged and highly functioning team. Managers are required to work additional hours as needed to support the business requirements.Needs to be well-versed in all food safe handling and storage best practices for raw material, packaging material and finished goods among other logistical disciplines, processes and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to deliver performance reports, maintain records, manage, and delegate. The candidate will be a team-focused individual who is passionate and driven to deliver best in class performance and continuously improve what and how we do our work to ensure business success. The individual is a role model for teamwork and easily works cross functionally. This individual will be responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to the following:Hands-on leadership for a warehousing team supporting business needsOversee one satellite WH relationshipOversee and scheduled the receiving, distribution, and shipping to, from and within the warehousesEnsure proper process and documentation is maintained related to receipt, movement, product storage and shipping of product and components, including verification against pick slips and BOLsProfessionally document and report issues and deviationsDirect and coach employees to ensure adherence to workplace processes and standardsEnsure safety in the workplace by adhering to and making sure employees follow the companies' safety policies and procedures, addresses concerns immediatelyAdhere to GMPs, policies and procedures and ensures team follows them tooAccountable for employees work performance and break scheduleEnsure key productivity, quality, inventory, and safety parameters are measured and monitoredOrganize and ensure all required inventory cycle counts of Raw and Pack, Finished Goods, and other suppliesPerform all required system transactions to ensure proper inventory movement and accuracyPerform all required safety inspections/audits as assignedManages Cycle Count program including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly countsComplete inventory traceability as required for internal and external auditsMonitor the return process and coordinate the production schedule reconciliation with data entry teamMonitor production schedule consumption to verify material are consuming properly and resolve any discrepanciesResearch inventory variances using root cause analysis and resolve variances in a timely manner, developing any process changes and/or training required to prevent in the futureComplete all required inventory reportingSet up delivery and pick-up appointmentsOther duties as required or assigned
