Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. A welcoming family in Wausau, WI, is seeking a compassionate, dependable part-time caregiver to provide in-home support for their teenage child with special needs. Pay: • $17.66/hourly Schedule: • 3 pm-5:30 pm Monday thru Thursday (Summer) • 3 pm-5:30 pm Monday thru Wednesday (School Time) Tasks: • Transfers • Meal prep/Feeding • Personal Cares • Mobility • ADL’s (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.) • Assist with medications, when needed • Provide safety and companionship while encouraging activity Qualifications: • Reliable Transportation • Prior experience working with individuals with physical disabilities is desired; however not required • Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment. • Must pass background check.
