IT Project Manager

Job Description

My client is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team supporting their federal client in Silver Spring, Maryland. They will join a team of 3 that consists of an enterprise architect and a meeting facilitator. This team is in place to help this federal client stand up their PMO office while also helping to maintain/track the existing 9 IT projects that the federal PMs are running with. The IT PM's day to day responsibilities will include scheduling and helping to facilitate strategic planning meetings, maintaining a tracking mechanism that differentiates active projects from pre-project pipelines, and ensuring that requirements, outcomes, targets, and deadlines are clear and understood by stakeholders and project team

Skills and Requirements

bachelor's degree or masters degree

PMP certification

15+ YOE (total) with a masters or 17+ YOE with a bachelors degree
