Job Overview

• Position: Radiologic Technologist – Mobile X-Ray
• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Employment Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
• Pay Rate: $38–$45/hour (Based on Experience) + Benefits
• Shift Type: Varied shifts

Shift Details:

The candidate may work different schedules:

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Additional Scheduling Requirements

• Rotating weekends
• Rotating on-call duties
• Shift differential pay available for evenings/nights

What the Candidate Will Do

This is a mobile X-ray technologist role . The tech will travel to different healthcare facilities instead of working in one hospital.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform portable X-rays using mobile imaging equipment
• Visit:
• • Nursing homes
  • Skilled nursing facilities
  • Home health patients
  • Correctional/prison facilities
• Upload/send images to radiologists
• Possibly perform EKGs if required
• Maintain equipment and company vehicle
• Handle paperwork and billing documents
• Communicate with dispatch and facility staff

Requirements:

• ARRT Certification
• Active Maryland X-Ray License
• Full state license only (limited license NOT accepted)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel/mobile work
• Must meet health requirements

Preferred

• COVID vaccination (or approved exemption documentation)

Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding.

The technologist must:

• Push/pull portable X-ray machines
• Handle equipment weighing 50–100 lbs.
• Move equipment multiple times daily
• Work in patient homes and facilities

This is important because some candidates may not be comfortable with heavy mobile equipment or travel.
