If you are interested in pursuing a rewarding career, we invite you to review our opportunities!Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Observe, learn & assist with Technicians who are overseeing major repairs of all types of equipmentProvide support to other Technicians with maintenance or equipment repairsAssist Technicians in conducting preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down timein the fieldPerform maintenance type work (i.e. preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light repairs,etc.) under supervisionFabricates and replaces parts as required to meet manufacturers specifications under supervisionPerform safety inspections on equipmentAttend all training and manufacturing training as directedMeet all company, governmental, and equipment related safety requirementsAttend and participate in all Profit Center MeetingsMaintain a clean and safe work environment and properly handle company toolsMaintain acceptably clean, neat and professional appearance at all times while wearing companyuniformsQUALIFICATIONS:Willingness to learn and ability to comprehend complex equipment repairs0 to 1 years’ experience with similar equipment strongly preferredMay need to safely use personal toolsAbility to effectively and safely use tools and equipmentAbility to communicate equipment issues and understand job assignmentsPersonal and professional integrityProficient to advanced computer skills - enter work orders, diagnose issues, Wynne system, and abilityto learn analyzers.Exhibit a clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safetyFlexibility regarding work assignmentsMust be physically able to work in a job-site or diesel shop environment for extensive periods toinclude lifting up to 50lbs, bending, squatting, crouching, reachingDiesel or Heavy Equipment Technical Associates Degree strongly preferredPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job.
