Overview Senior Accountant – Indianapolis (Indy) – Growing Company; Great Culture Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Location: Indianapolis, IN Responsibilities Performing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes Assisting in the development of financial statements and reports Reviewing and explaining variances to budget/forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support achievement of business goals Qualifications A Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance required 2-5 years minimum work experience Public accounting experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong understanding of general ledger processes and financial reporting Ability to analyze variances and communicate findings clearly Job function Accounting/Auditing EEO statements and related notices were provided as part of the original posting.
