Hooks, Meng & Clement (HMC) is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team. This role supports the firm's billing department through invoice processing, data entry, account management, and coordination with attorneys and staff to ensure accurate and timely billing.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced professional environment. Previous billing, accounting, or administrative experience is preferred but not required.

Salary of $40,000

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Entering and maintaining billing records

• Maintaining billing spreadsheets and reports

• Preparing and submitting monthly client invoices

• Assisting with daily billing operations

• Coordinating billing matters with partners, attorneys, and staff

• Providing general accounting and administrative support as needed

• Proficiency with basic office equipment and Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines while producing high-quality work
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Prior billing or accounting experience preferred, but not required
