Urology Physician

Shift: Day, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM; 24-hour call coverage
Start Date: 11/16/2026
End Date: Ongoing / Full weeks as needed
Position Details:
Clinic and hospital/OR coverage. Clinic operates Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch. 24-hour call coverage is also needed. Robotic surgery is available, and supervision of new APPs is required.
Patient Population: Adults age 18+, with the exception of emergency torsion cases that may present during call.

Type of Healthcare Facility: Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities:
Provide urology clinic, OR, and call coverage. Manage office visits and cystoscopy/stent procedures. Supervise new APPs as required. Robotic surgery may be included if part of the physician's practice.

Required Procedures:

• Vasectomy Required
• Cystoscopy Required in OR
• Prostate procedures Required
• Ureteroscopy Required in OR
• Lithotripsy Required
• Orchiopexy Required
• Vasectomy reversal Preferred, not mandatory
• Penile plication
• Penile implants Rare
• Circumcision Rare possibility during call

EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: 4 MAs, 1 CSA, and 1 RN
Days Per Month: Full weeks ongoing
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call required; specific call blocks include November , November 30 December 4, and December 28 January 1. Clinic coverage includes November 27.

Requirements:

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

- Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC LOQ

- DEA required; minimum 1 year of experience
