Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 6 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months. Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months. Must be able to interpret EKGs.

Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Must pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam through Relias within 48 hours of receiving offer; maximum 2 attempts. Pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation with an emphasis on sterile field; study materials will be provided with first-day instructions.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: D4 Neuro Tele unit caring for neuro post-surgical patients, post-craniotomy patients, spine cases, and CVAs post-TPA. Centralized telemetry. Charge nurse has no patient assignment; clinical supervisor is in a management role. PCT support is 1 per every 16 patients. No IV team. Hospitalist rounds during the day and is on call at night. No ICP monitoring.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: First to float; could float to sister facility.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
