Good driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements. CDL A Flatbed Drivers – OTR Specialize in flatbed transportation across long distances. Responsible for safe and efficient delivery of goods while upholding high safety standards. Responsibilities : Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or distribution centers. Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Document and log driving hours and miles (ELOG). Comply with truck driving rules and company policies. Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Report defects, accidents, or violations. Skills : Verifiable work experience as a flatbed driver. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules. No recent moving or driving violations. Pay : Miles guaranteed (ELOG). Tarp pay, detention pay, layover pay, extra stop pay. Clean inspection bonus pay, weekend bonus pay. Fuel at major truck stops. Repairs covered at major truck stops. Percentage pay offered after first year. Requirements : 2 year old CDL A. Minimum 1 year of verifiable flatbed experience. Valid Class A CDL. All required drivers must hold a valid Class A CDL, be 21 years or older, have 6 months of OTR tractor‑trailer experience in the last three years, maintain a clean MVR, and have no DUI/DWI in the last five years.
