Job Title: OR RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 0630-1500, Monday-Friday. Evening and Weekend call required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Robot and GI experience preferred. Scrubbing required.

Description: Hiring process includes profile review and an interview with the unit manager. Ensure clinicians are in state for the week of orientation even if initial modules are remote. Unit has 4 Operating Rooms and 1 GI Endoscopy Room. Average number of cases per day is 10. Charge Nurse/House Supervisor positions are available, but this person will not be required to work in that role. Each case is typically staffed with at least 1 OR tech and 1 First Assistant. Charting system used is EPIC. Call requirements include a call shift during the week from 1500-0700 and a weekend call from 0700-0700. Most individuals take Saturday and Sunday together but this is not mandatory. Holiday call requirements are also included. Call response time is expected to be 30 minutes. There is no floating outside of the OR, except in extreme cases within designated zones. Dress code is Ceil Blue, and scrubs are provided. There will be unit-specific orientation and a checkoff process for contract staff. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment.
