Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Shift start times vary (9:00 AM or 11:00 AM depending on area assignment); schedule flexibility is required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in a PACU setting
• Adapt to variable shift start times based on daily area assignments within Pre/Post and PACU
• Remain on shift until patient care is complete; outpatient surgery does not have shift relief, so nurses are expected to stay and finish the day
• Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location as required
• Adhere to facility dress code (scrubs or business casual)
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license required ; compact license must be in hand at time of submission (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or relevant nursing experience
• Ability to commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered or granted; total RTO requests should not exceed 7 days
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered at an adjusted rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are also encouraged to apply
• Experience in outpatient surgical or ambulatory care settings
• Comfort with floating to sister facilities within the same health system
