Quality SpecialistJob Location: Odessa, TX, 79763 Pay Rate: $20/hr. + ($03:00/hr. shift differential) Shift timings: 11 ON / 3 OFF 3PM - 3AMWhat You Will Do:Perform moderately complex and intricate inspection processesFollow effective guidance for nightly inspection goalsVerify equipment meets quality specifications. Identifying defects in parts, approving or rejecting itemsComplete inspection reports, related paperwork, and ensure all information is recorded accuratelyResponsible for maintaining the quality standards set forth by the companyIdentifying ongoing quality issues and prevent potential production issues and make suggestions for improvementFollow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positivelyRegularly and predictably attend work and be punctualWork nights, 3:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. or work is completed, on a rotating basisMinimum Qualifications:1 year of experience in ESP experienceExperience in a manufacturing and/or quality environment preferredAccuracy and Attention to detailCustomer-first mindsetAction-oriented for delivering resultsAble to complete required testing documentationAble to troubleshoot issues with equipmentBe proficient with all Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work under general supervision and or little to no supervisionEffectively present information and respond to questionsSuccessful planning, priority setting, informing, results, and time management skills.Ability to interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate (read, write, and speak) in EnglishExperience using hand tools such as screwdrivers and small assembly tools.Experience handling small parts, inventory, or inspection-related tasks.Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.Ability to accept feedback and coaching.Teamwork and collaboration.Self-discipline, integrity, and accountability.
