Smile Design Lakeland is looking for a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Lakeland, Florida! We are seeking a positive, adaptable hygienist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and periodontal dental hygiene services in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols.
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, periodontal charting, and oral health evaluations.
• Take and review digital radiographs using Dexis.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment needs, and preventive care recommendations.
• Partner with doctors and team members to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
• Accurately document patient information and treatment notes in Dentrix.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
• Adapt to the needs of a busy, fast-paced practice while delivering high-quality care.
• Build strong relationships with patients and contribute to a positive office culture.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred.
• Experience using Dentrix practice management software.
• Experience using Dexis digital imaging software.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
