Job Title eGRC Product Owner I Location & Hours Work Location: New York, New York, United States of America Hours: 40 Compensation Pay: $86,840 - $145,600 USD Responsibilities Ensure that a cross‑functional development pod creates value for the organization through the delivery of stakeholder‑focused product increments. Align with other Product Owners and senior management to follow a product vision and maintain a prioritized product backlog. Manage delivery blockers, continuously assess stakeholder feedback, and identify ways to maximize value and improve delivery processes. Contribute to a positive work environment and ensure work embodies Agile principles of transparency, collaboration, and engagement. Partner with senior management to support the delivery of a product vision, create and maintain a product backlog, and continuously re‑prioritize user stories to provide the most customer value. Continuously align with senior management on the product delivery roadmap, defining Minimum Marketable Features or Minimum Viable Products and the release cadence. Review performance analytics and recommend strategies to enhance the customer or end user product experience. Participate in scrum or Kanban events (stand‑ups, retrospectives), propose new ideas for improving product value or delivery efficiency, and share with leadership as appropriate. Engage business process partners to ensure customers or end users are prepared for application changes and establish Day‑2 processes. Create a value‑focused product backlog, continuously iterate, and ensure user stories are scoped and prioritized. Provide user story design, development, and completion oversight; accept or reject user stories based on the agreed Definition of Done and Acceptance Criteria. Manage delivery initiatives and oversee multiple development pod backlogs where appropriate. Proactively raise issues that impede efficient delivery of customer‑focused increments. Be responsible for defect management and prioritization. Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies relevant to the product area, ensuring strategic alignment with senior management. Facilitate conversations with multiple stakeholders representing competing priorities to balance backlog items. Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with the organization’s risk appetite. Support team development, track performance metrics, and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship. Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable work environment and promote diversity, equity and inclusion. Act as a brand ambassador for the business area and the bank, both internally and externally. Accountabilities Customer: Engage product features, deliver increments, monitor performance analytics, and promote product enhancements. Shareholder: Ensure enterprise alignment, manage stakeholder input, oversee risk and quality testing, and maintain strategic oversight. Employee/Team: Foster teamwork, provide coaching, maintain agile practices, support performance management, and share knowledge. Education & Experience Undergraduate degree or equivalent product certification. 7+ years of relevant experience. 3‑5 years of Product Owner or Agile related delivery experience. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and project management experience considered an asset. Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications or experience operating in scaled agile delivery considered an asset. Preferred Qualifications Experience in eGRC / Non‑Financial Risk Product Management at a large financial institution or G‑SIB. Experience supporting issue management, incident/event management, RCSA, business continuity management, operational resilience, compliance risk assessment, regulatory change management, policy management, monitoring and testing, product/service risk management, AML risk assessment, or exam management.
