Position Details

Job Title: Production/Inventory Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Assignment)

Location: San Antonio, TX

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Variable 1st and 2nd Shifts

Overtime: Weekend and overtime work as required

Pay Rate: $27.22 per hour

As a Production/Inventory Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring materials, parts, and equipment are available when and where they are needed. Your work will directly support production schedules, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency within a dynamic aviation maintenance environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, managing inventory, collaborating across teams, and contributing to the success of complex aerospace operations.

What You'll Do

Inventory & Material Management

• Route materials to designated storage locations according to established procedures.

• Receive, store, issue, and prepare materials for shipment.

• Conduct inventory counts and inspections, documenting damaged or deteriorated materials.

• Maintain accountability and accuracy of inventory, parts, and materials.

Production Support

• Review production schedules and material requirements to ensure operational readiness.

• Coordinate the availability of products, materials, hardware, and resources needed to support production timelines.

• Order parts, tools, equipment, and supplies as required.

Problem Solving & Analysis

• Investigate inventory and material-related issues and implement effective solutions.

• Analyze scheduling, inventory, and material requirements to support quality, budget, and schedule objectives.

• Assist with complex inventory, configuration control, and material planning challenges.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all health, safety, housekeeping, tool control, inventory control, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) requirements.

• Wear required personal protective equipment and safely perform duties in varying work environments.

• Support compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and contractual requirements.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with production, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives and program success.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse inventory experience , including parts accountability and inventory accuracy.

• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with inventory management systems and digital tools.

• Ability to obtain or currently possess a forklift license.

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work variable shifts, including overtime and weekends when required.

• Reliable attendance and dependability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or production environments.

• Experience with inventory control, material planning, or warehouse operations.

• Forklift certification.

• Experience analyzing production schedules and material requirements.

• Familiarity with safety, quality, and compliance standards in regulated industries.

Pay Details: $27.22 per hour
