Position Description:  The part-time provides day-to-day support in toddler and preschool classrooms. This job includes carrying out care routines, providing positive social and emotional support, and daily classroom maintenance duties. The hours for this position are between the hours of 3:30-5:45 PM.

General Expectations:

• Exhibit a growth mindset continuously seeking ways to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus which includes evaluating your ministry or support area against department goals and personal performance.

• Live in such a way that your witness, example, service to others, and worship does not become a stumbling block. (I Timothy 3:2 and Acts 15:19).

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support classroom teachers with the daily operations in the classroom

• Seek to know and implement MN Licensing requirements and NAEYC Accreditation standards

• Actively engage with children-play with children

• Follow through on daily cleaning tasks

• Cultivate effective teacher and family relationships

• Collaboratively work all staff 

• Be a positive and encouraging influence for young children 

• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:

• 16+ years old

• Experience with young children

• Excellent verbal and listening skills

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic
