We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager at our Bellevue Ave boutique in Newport, RI. Starting as a seasonal position with room to grow. The right candidate thrives in a close-knit, team-oriented environment and demonstrates willingness and excitement when it comes to tackling new skills and/or a variety of responsibilities with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
What We're Looking For: -previous retail (or related) experience
-a passion for both fashion and design with an appreciation for our boutique's aesthetic and mission
-exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a refined ability to engage and connect with customers
-a positive and approachable demeanor, with customer service experience
-a team player who possesses a strong sense of integrity and accountability
-a self-motivated problem solver who exhibits strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and collaborate
-an eye for attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
-ability to adapt and thrive in an often fast-paced, ever changing environment
-flexibility to work weekends and key retail periods (holidays)
Day-To-Day Expectations -assist with daily operations, ensuring our boutique is well-maintained, visually appealing and organized at all times
-deliver impeccable customer service by assisting clients in a no-pressure, personalized shopping experience
-drive sales by providing a high level of customer service and ensuring a memorable shopping experience
-help manage product stock and backend supplies to ensure our boutique is always stocked for success
-assist in fun, collaborative marketing strategies; social media management and/or community engagement
