General Accountant

Consilio's Direct Hire Recruiting Team is partnering with an Am Law 100 firm to identify a General Accountant to join their Washington, DC Capitol Hill office. Schedule: 37.5 hour work week. Hybrid (4x a week onsite, 1 day remote) Salary: $65,000–$80,000 (depending on experience) This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow their career within a collaborative law firm environment. The position offers exposure to both accounts payable and legal billing functions , with training available for candidates who bring strong AP experience and are interested in expanding their skill set. What you’ll be doing: Processing accounts payable transactions and employee expense reimbursements Assisting with client billing activities and invoice review Supporting account reconciliations and financial reporting processes Responding to inquiries from attorneys, staff, vendors, and clients Maintaining accurate accounting records, reports, and spreadsheets Partnering with accounting team members across multiple office locations Assisting with special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed What we’re looking for: 2+ years of accounting experience Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus Consilio, LLC is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
