Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic supports safe and reliable operation of equipment by performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems. This role ensures production and facility equipment operates efficiently and helps minimize downtime through proactive maintenance practices.
Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment to quickly identify root causes of problems.
• Perform repairs on machinery and equipment to restore safe and efficient operation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks on a regular schedule to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or potential failures and take corrective action as needed.
• Use electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used to maintain accurate equipment histories.
• Collaborate with other technicians and operations staff to prioritize work and support continuous operations.
• Follow safety procedures and best practices while working on equipment to maintain a safe work environment.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience working as a Maintenance Mechanic or Maintenance Technician.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Hands-on experience performing preventive maintenance on production or facility equipment.
• Ability to repair and maintain a wide range of equipment and machinery.
• Solid understanding of maintenance practices, including inspection, diagnosis, and repair.
• Capability to work independently to identify issues and complete maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability and safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance mechanic roles within industrial, manufacturing, or similar environments.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and documentation practices.
• Comfort working with a mix of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new equipment and maintenance techniques.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $68640.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
