Project Finance Associate (Junior-Level)

Winston's Renewable Energy Project Finance group is looking for junior associates (minimum 2+ years of experience) to join its market leading practice. Such associate will focus on primarily project document diligence and will have to opportunity to work on renewable energy projects involving wind and solar power and storage, including complex transactions involving construction financing, term loan finance, and back-leverage finances. Any project document / project development experience will be helpful, such as experience in reviewing construction contracts or equipment supply contracts. Junior associates will be responsible for assisting our project document diligence team with respect to construction contracts, equipment supply contracts and offtake agreement and related diligence related to the construction and operation of the projects. We will consider candidates for our Los Angeles and New York offices. All candidates must be admitted to the state bar of their preferred location.

The Renewable Energy Project Finance group represents lenders in renewable energy financings (solar, wind, and battery storage) across the United States. Clients include nearly all the high-profile players in this growing and exiting space. The team has advised on transactions that have recently been recognized as "deals of the year" across multiple categories by such industry organizations as IJGlobal and Proximo. Additionally, the practice and several of practitioners are routinely recognized market leaders by Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500, Power Finance & Risk, and U.S. News & World Report's "Best Law Firms."
