Position Summary The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Neurologist to join its growing outpatient neurology practice in Dothan, Alabama. This is a 100% outpatient opportunity offering a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no inpatient responsibilities. The neurologist will focus on diagnosing and managing a broad range of neurological conditions in a well-supported clinic environment. The group is open to 2026 Neurology residents as well as experienced neurologists. Essential Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological care to adult patients Diagnose and manage conditions such as headaches, epilepsy, stroke follow-up, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, and movement disorders Conduct neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic studies including MRI, CT scans, EEG, and EMG (as applicable) Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists for coordinated patient care Provide patient education and long-term disease management Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices Qualifications Education M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school Completion of a Neurology residency Licensure & Certification Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Eligible for or holding an active Alabama medical license Current BLS/ACLS preferred Experience Open to 2026 graduating residents Experienced neurologists also encouraged to apply Compensation and Environment Competitive base salary productivity incentives Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans Malpractice coverage CME allowance paid CME time Paid time off and reimbursement for licenses and professional fees Modern outpatient clinic with access to advanced diagnostic technology Thank you for your time, and I look forward to connecting soon!
