You’ll guide a talented team of early learning professionals, implement the YUSA Creative Curriculum , and ensure excellence in licensing, accreditation, health, and safety.

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Lead and manage daily operations of a licensed early learning childcare facility
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and positive development of all enrolled children
• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of teachers and early learning professionals
• Recruit staff, interview families, and facilitate trainings, meetings, and professional development
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial accountability for the program
• Maintain accurate program files, records, and statistical data
• Ensure proper staffing coverage with qualified teachers and assistants
• Build strong relationships with families, community partners, schools, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
• Promote program growth, quality, sustainability, and community engagement

What You Bring

To be considered, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Recreation, or a related field (or equivalent)
• 3–5 years of experience in a licensed, certified, military, or tribal childcare program with significant responsibility for:
  • Curriculum development and implementation
  • Staff supervision, training, and development
• Ability to meet all pre-employment requirements upon hire, including:
  • Drug and alcohol screening
  • Criminal background check
  • Tuberculosis (TB) test
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
