A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LABORER As a Laborer, you play a critical role in helping us successfully complete infrastructure projects, including roadwork, highways, bridges, airports, and sitework. You may contribute to a variety of construction projects involving paving, excavation, curbing, and trenching. Using physical strength, you perform manual work and utilize various equipment including hand and power tools. Day-to-day responsibilities may include patching asphalt, pouring and shaping sidewalks, operating compactors, raking, shoveling, traffic control, and site maintenance. You prioritize the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the general public. Our dedicated laborers enjoy working in intense, fast-paced environments alongside skilled team members. All in all, you will find your job highly satisfying and are happy to work for a solid, supportive company! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LABORER At least 18 years old. High school diploma/GED is preferred. Have or be able to obtain OSHA 10/30 certification. Prior related construction experience, including a bility to operate a compactor and valid driver's license is desired. Ability to work nights and travel to the islands are strongly desired. Are you a team player, who treats others with honesty and respect? Work is dependent on project-based needs, however a majority of our employees work 40+ hours during peak periods, and as needed during off seasons (typically 9-10 months/year) .
