Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele Unit (MSU)

Location: Rochester, NY

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Tele (MSU) unit in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves providing high-quality inpatient care with cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and support for medically complex patients.

• Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg Tele unit (MSU)
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
• Respond to rapid response and code situations
• Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy (required competency)
• Maintain peripheral IV line care and management
• Administer oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support
• Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Maintain patient safety with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Document all care accurately in EPIC system
• Float to similar units based on skillset
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Active New York State RN License (non-compact state)
• Minimum recent acute care experience required
• BLS certification required
• Strong experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing
• Cardiac monitoring & dysrhythmia interpretation required
• IV insertion and phlebotomy competency required
• Experience with rapid response/code situations
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to float within scope of practice
