Caregiver/Direct Support Professional

There are opportunities to work with people who may need medical care, behavioral care, or need support in social environments. Short or long shifts include weekdays, weekends, afternoons, early mornings, evenings, and sleep or awake overnights. We will work with you to figure out the best option for you. The best way to find out about specific positions and hours is to apply! What is a Direct Support Professional (DSP)? Our DSPs work in the homes of people with disabilities and support them in living more independently. They help their clients become engaged in their community and encourage them to make their own choices. A DSP assists people in participating in life's essential activities such as helping them start their day, take medications, get to work, manage money and household tasks, prepare meals, and so much more. If you aren't familiar with the term Direct Support Professional (DSP), similar job titles might be Caregiver, Personal Care Attendant (PCA), Home Health Aide, Nursing Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Direct Care Provider. What's in it for you? Flexible schedules—a variety of part-time and full-time positions to fit your other jobs or life commitments. Pay range is $17.00 to $20.40 per hour, dependent on related experience and hours with shift differentials. Site differentials ranging from $0.50 to $6.00 per hour. $2.00 more per hour from 5 P.M. English language proficiency with the ability to clearly write and express thoughts. Technical skills-must be comfortable and proficient in using computers and/or smart technology. Cell phone or device with GPS capability. Dependable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance. Driving record must meet CCRI insurability standards. Be at least 16 years of age. What is CCRI? We support more than 400 people living in Minnesota throughout the Moorhead, Hawley, Barnesville and Breckenridge communities. Open until filled.
