Human Resources Director

Environment: Growing aerospace & defense manufacturing organization Scope: Lead the HR function and build the people infrastructure needed to support significant company growth About the Company Our client is a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer undergoing significant organizational expansion and transformation. The business is evolving toward more complex, value-added manufacturing while building out its leadership team and organizational structure. This Role is For You If: You are a hands-on HR leader and builder, not simply an administrator of existing programs. You have experience supporting a manufacturing or highly operational workforce. You know how to build and professionalize recruiting processes and talent pipelines. You have developed job descriptions, classifications, salary bands, and compensation structures. You can strengthen employee engagement, communication, recognition, and retention. You are comfortable partnering directly with a CEO and helping an evolving organization introduce structure without unnecessary bureaucracy. You enjoy building HR infrastructure while simultaneously addressing the immediate needs of a growing business. What You’ll Do Develop and execute an HR strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives. Own full-cycle recruiting across hourly manufacturing, technical, professional, and leadership positions. Build sustainable talent pipelines and recruiting partnerships. Establish stronger job architecture, salary bands, market benchmarks, and compensation practices. Drive employee engagement, communication, recognition, and retention initiatives. Lead performance management, employee relations, development, and succession planning. Partner with senior leadership to improve organizational clarity, accountability, and manager effectiveness. Build scalable HR processes, policies, metrics, and infrastructure to support continued growth. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of progressive HR experience with broad responsibility across recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and HR operations. Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred, and experience within aerospace, defense, government contracting, or another regulated environment would be beneficial. Most importantly, this individual needs to be a credible, hands‑on HR business partner who can work effectively with executives, managers, and shop‑floor employees while helping build the HR function for the company's next stage of growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr TriVista Recruitment
