L&D RN

Schedule
Shift: 1900-0730 (Nights), occasional Day shift coverage.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Strong labor experience and comfort with postpartum care
- STABLE certification recommended
- Experience with newborn stabilization skills
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- STABLE and Fetal Heart Monitoring strongly preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
- Administer medications and interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth and postpartum care.
- Participate in the stabilization of newborns when necessary.
