Overview
Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Location: Templeton, California, United States. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,197–$2,324 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days (variable shifts may apply). This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Circulate in the Operating Room during surgical procedures; assist surgeons and anesthesia; coordinate flow of equipment, supplies, and staff
- Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care
- Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning, and participate in pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care planning per department criteria
- Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials; operate and troubleshoot typical OR equipment as trained
- Access facility information systems to retrieve and utilize pertinent patient data and document care

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California) — Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — Required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- One year of prior full-time operating room experience — Required
- At least two years of recent nursing experience in the field — Required
- PALS certification and CNOR designation preferred
