Value Chain Pricing and Standards Manager

Title: Value Chain Pricing and Standards Manager Date: May 6, 2026 Location: Dallas, TX, US, 75219 Basic Function HF Sinclair is seeking a Value Chain and Standards Manager professional in Dallas, TX. In this role you will manage the weekly pricing process and commercial standards that drive clear and consistent insights, and actions to optimize the refinery fleet economics and continuous improvement. You will utilize entrepreneurial and critical thinking skills in broad-based economic analysis with the influence of external market factors upon the organization to evaluate opportunities for crude, products, and cost improvements as well as achieve clear explanations for investor relations communications. You are responsible for the overall quality of professional work within the discipline, developing procedures and strategies for the discipline, monitoring and developing appropriate professional standards for quality assurance, and internally considered as a technical advisor and future leader. Job Duties Monitors and develops additional internal standards for optimization and quality assurance Maintain the weekly, monthly, and annual pricing systems used to generate operational weekly optimization and monthly forward planning, as well as support for the development of annual budget oil flows Develop processes and standards to maintain crude and product economic results across all refineries in the fleet Collaborate with Crude Supply, Products, Asphalt, Logistics, Operations, and Marketing teams to develop models and tools that expose insights to drive actionable results Collaborate with the Finance function to ensure alignment between reporting and accounting records Use refining and commercial knowledge to improve refining, commercial and integrated business segment key metrics Leverage cross‑functional team specialists to improve data system analytics that align with common industry standards Collaborate with the IT function for evaluating and growing capabilities with new platforms to drive user‑friendly end‑user systems and visibility throughout the organization Maintain existing and create new metrics with dynamic capabilities by period, location, and references such as prior periods, monthly plans, and budget Ensure “Single Source of Truth” approach for pricing and metric standards management Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness Leads project teams, informal or formal leadership of other professionals Experience A minimum of eight years of direct refinery experience with at least three years in economics & planning is required. A full understanding of refinery processes and basic financial acumen is required. A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering. Required Skills Excel PowerPoint MS Teams Work Conditions Office-based with occasional refinery visits, and with up to 10% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, and out‑of‑doors environment (depending on assignment). Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
