Job Title and Location Phlebotomist II Part‑Time – West New York, NJ Schedule: Friday 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM; Saturday 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM Pay Pay range: $19.41 – $29.12 / hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, certifications, and market factors. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Unvaccinated individuals will be subject to regular testing. Responsibilities Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams). Administer oral solutions according to training. Research test/client information and confirm all written and electronic orders using lab technology systems and approved tools. Navigate a computer and accurately enter data. Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments following corporate policies. Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparing for transport as required). Perform non‑patient‑facing duties (inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, email). Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data when required. Maintain all phlebotomy logs (frequency-based) such as maintenance and temperature logs. Complete online and in‑person training courses on time. Qualifications Three years phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Keyboard/data entry experience. Flexible and available based on staffing needs (including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime). Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: medical assistant or paramedic training. Preferred: phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA). Ability to effectively communicate in English.
