CT Technologist - Weekend Option

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and providing a supportive patient experience at a hospital setting. Responsibilities Include Performing CT procedures following departmental guidelines, ensuring diagnostic image quality while maintaining patient safety. Operating imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to optimize image quality and dose reduction (ALARA). Maintaining cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, reporting issues promptly. Gathering clinical history, verifying orders, and screening for contraindications. Explaining procedures to patients, addressing questions, and ensuring comfort using AIDET principles. Providing age-appropriate care, obtaining consent, and administering contrast as needed. Positioning patients correctly, applying shielding, and reviewing images for diagnostic acceptability. Documenting procedures accurately, ensuring proper finalization in RIS/PACS. Monitoring patient condition, responding to emergencies, and supporting department operations. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. At least 1 year of radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).
