CT Technologist - Weekend Option

Role Overview: The CT Technologist delivers high‑quality imaging and compassionate patient care at a hospital setting. They operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring diagnostic images meet quality standards while minimizing radiation dose. The technologist maintains equipment, adheres to infection control protocols, and accurately documents procedures within RIS/PACS systems. Key Responsibilities Perform CT scans according to departmental guidelines, adjusting techniques for optimal results. Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using clear communication. Administer contrast agents, position patients correctly, and apply shielding as needed. Review and ensure image quality; repeat exams if necessary and finalize documentation. Respond to emergencies, monitor patient condition, and support departmental workflows. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of work areas and equipment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum 1 year radiology experience. Certifications in ARRT‑R (Radiography), ARRT‑CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS. Skills & Attributes Technical proficiency in CT imaging, patient communication, attention to safety and infection control, documentation accuracy, and teamwork.
