CT Technologist

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services in a supportive, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Perform CT procedures following department protocols, ensuring diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Operate imaging equipment safely, maintain cleanliness, and troubleshoot equipment issues. Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety using AIDET. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy; administer contrast and position patients accurately. Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat if needed, and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support infection control and equipment maintenance. Organize workflows, support departmental operations, transport patients safely, and adhere to regulatory standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum 1 year radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (American Heart Association). Skills & Attributes Technical proficiency in CT imaging and equipment operation. Strong patient communication, compassion, and ability to explain procedures clearly. Attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work independently.
