Child and Adolescent Therapist

Overview Join us at Columbia Mental Health, a member of the Transformations Care Network (TCN), to empower child and adolescent therapists with the opportunity to make a difference in behavioral health. Key Responsibilities Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families. Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on unique client needs. Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans. Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning. Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms. Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field. Experience working with children and families. Ability to provide play therapy or use treatment approaches appropriate for children’s age and developmental level. Provisional license per state regulation if required. Passionate about mental health and committed to high‑quality care. Dedicated to ongoing professional development, including supervision and continuing education. Collaborative mindset within a multidisciplinary team. Strong ethical practice, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills. Time management and efficient documentation.
