Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position located at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing care in a high-risk, high-volume labor and delivery unit, supporting obstetric and neonatal care, and functioning as a Baby Nurse during deliveries. Candidates must be comfortable working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and be prepared to float to related units as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week. The contract is scheduled to start on 10/19/2026 and end on 04/19/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission; at least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery; high-risk obstetric experience; ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications; EPIC electronic fetal monitoring experience; strong skills in assist with high risk delivery, neonatal care, and postpartum procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate certifications.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to postpartum, antepartum, NICU, or sister facilities with relevant skills.
• Additional Information: The position requires functioning in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery and caring for newborns until transfer to postpartum; responsibilities include neonatal assessments, administering eye care, Vit K injections, and initial newborn care. Candidates must be able to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments and manage high-risk pregnancies.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates should include responses regarding prior work at a healthcare provider, location, and dates worked, along with two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
