Forklift Operator

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at a small manufacturing facility with a 30,000 square foot warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating a forklift to move materials within the warehouse, load semi-trucks, and support overall warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Load and unload semi-trucks with precision, adhering to safety protocols and securing loads for transportation.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure the forklift's optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including proper storage of materials and equipment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production demands.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking and recording materials movement.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and willingness to follow protocols.
