Work Environment

You will be working in an outpatient office setting, where a typical day spans Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours. Our clinic's fast-paced nature allows for a variety of clinical encounters each day, ensuring that no two days are alike.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner in our pain management clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough physical examinations and gathering comprehensive patient medical histories.
• Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic pain-related conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to guide clinical decision-making.
• Educating patients on pain management strategies and self-care techniques for disease prevention and promotion of overall wellness.
• Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to deliver a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Maintaining meticulous medical records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facilitate continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily caters to adults experiencing chronic pain spanning various etiologies, including musculoskeletal disorders, nerve pain, and pain following surgeries. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• A current Registered Nurse License in New York State.
• A Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner studies.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in pain management or related fields.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Exceptional clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills coupled with a strong sense of teamwork.
• The ability to work autonomously and handle a fast-paced clinical environment effectively.

Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates should have direct experience in pain management settings, including familiarity with treatment modalities such as injections, medication management, and physical rehabilitation practices. Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems is also highly beneficial, as it enhances efficiency in documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits
