If you are looking for a meaningful, mission driven career, Join FSA!ResponsibilitiesUnder supervision, assists attorneys with the litigation process.Reviews work of paralegals and clerks.Prepares all documents related to the litigation process to include drafting motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc.Screens documents for privilege.Performs other duties as assigned.RequirementsLaw Degree: or currently a student at an ABA-accredited law school with a minimum of one-year completedExperience conducting legal research using various research tools and law library resourcesExcellent communication skills; oral and written, to include legal writing skillsStrong organizational and prioritization skillsExperience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications, to include databasesAbility to work in a team environment, deliver the highest quality of work, and maintain a professional disposition under extreme pressureThis position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.Agency OverviewThe United States Attorney's Office (USAO) serves as the nation's principal litigators under the direction of the Attorney General.
