Service Advisor - Full Time Full Time Fairfield, CA, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1043 Salary Range: $18.50 To $20.00 Hourly Position Summary Service Advisor is a customer-facing sales and service role responsible for identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate wash and detail services, promoting Fast Pass memberships, processing customer transactions, and delivering a high-quality guest experience. This position requires strong knowledge of company services and promotions, effective sales and communication skills, and the ability to independently guide customers through service options while supporting daily site operations. This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Essential Functions The following duties are considered essential functions of this position: Engage customers and identify their vehicle care and service needs Explain and recommend wash packages, detail services, Fast Pass memberships, and promotional offerings Promote membership enrollment and retention through consultative sales Process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system Maintain cash-handling accuracy and accountability Provide accurate information regarding services, pricing, promotions, and membership terms Support vehicle preparation, detailing, and other site operations as assigned Maintain cleanliness and organization of customer-facing and assigned work areas Comply with all company safety standards and the Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) Immediately report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions Customer Experience Responsibilities Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic manner Build rapport and create a welcoming customer experience Ask appropriate questions to understand customer needs and recommend suitable services Respond to routine questions regarding services, memberships, and promotions Assist with resolving routine customer concerns within assigned authority Escalate complaints or complex concerns to management Support customer retention by providing accurate information and consistent service Qualifications Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to confidently engage customers and recommend products and services Ability to learn and explain service packages, membership programs, promotions, and detail services Ability to accurately process POS transactions and handle cash Ability to multitask in a fast-paced customer-facing environment Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility Demonstrated ability to follow safety and operational procedures Physical & Work Environment Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more per shift) Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach Frequently use hands and arms Occasionally lift and move items up to 50 pounds Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Exposure to water, cleaning agents, and operational equipment Reasonable accommodations may be made in accordance with applicable law.
