Calibration & Metrology Technician (Day Shift)

 

Location: Chandler, AZ

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (Flexible start/end times may be available)

Pay: $18-$20 per hour

 

Join a leading semiconductor manufacturing team supporting one of the world’s most advanced fabrication facilities. We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration & Metrology Technician to maintain precision measurement equipment that supports manufacturing, laboratory, and testing operations.

 

What You’ll Do

·       Maintain and update calibration records and databases.

·       Coordinate calibration activities with internal teams and outside suppliers.

·       Create purchase orders and track calibration services.

·       Perform calibration of measurement and test equipment including:

·       Torque tools

·       Micrometers

·       Gauges

·       Digital meters

·       Basic electronic test equipment

·       Troubleshoot and repair calibration equipment when applicable.

·       Document completed work and maintain accurate service records.

·       Support ISO 17025 and quality compliance requirements.

·       Work closely with engineers, technicians, and laboratory personnel.

 

Minimum Qualifications

·       Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Metrology, or a related technical field OR equivalent military technical experience.

·       Basic understanding of electronic test equipment and measurement devices.

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

·       Strong organizational and documentation skills.

·       Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

·       Preferred Qualifications

·       Previous calibration or metrology experience.

·       Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.

·       Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, gauges, and precision measuring equipment.

·       Understanding of ISO 17025 or quality systems.

·       Experience reading technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
