AI Engineer

AI Engineer Bilingüe

We are looking for a bilingual AI Engineer for a long-term remote project with a client in the United States. The role requires solid experience in software development and practical application of Generative AI, with a focus on LLMs, RAG, AI agents, Python, AWS, and integration with business systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement generative AI solutions.
• Build solutions with Python, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
• Integrate AI with APIs, databases, legacy platforms, and business systems.
• Work on AWS environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders in English.
• Develop scalable, secure, and production-oriented solutions.

Requirements

• Experience as a Software Developer, Backend Developer, AI Engineer, ML Engineer, or similar.
• Practical experience with Python.
• Real experience implementing generative AI solutions.
• Applied knowledge in LLMs, RAG, and/or AI agents.
• Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Llama, AWS Bedrock, or other similar platforms.
• Experience integrating solutions with APIs, databases, or corporate systems.
• Experience with AWS.
• Conversational/technical English.
• Remote availability from Colombia or Mexico, aligned with California time.

Desirables

• Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, banking, healthcare, or fintech.
• Experience with vector databases like Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, Weaviate, OpenSearch, or pgvector.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.
• Experience bringing AI solutions to production or near-production.

Important

We are looking for candidates who have built real generative AI solutions used by other users or teams. Not applicable for profiles with experience solely in courses, personal use of ChatGPT, prompt engineering, BI/Data Analysis without Python, or backend development without GenAI.
