This role requires a strong understanding of construction accounting practices and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Manage subcontractor billing, including reviewing invoices and payment applications. Ensure compliance with contract terms, lien waivers, and construction industry regulations. Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports for management. Work closely with project managers to track job costs and profitability. Handle accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. Assist with audits, tax filings, and financial compliance requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience in the construction industry. Proficiency in subcontractor billing and contract compliance. Experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, QuickBooks, or Procore). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
