We strive to make music lessons as accessible and affordable to as many people as possible because we believe the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place! Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Piano. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Nutley, NJ area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP! Lessons can occur in the students' homes; in your own home or your own studio/rehearsal space; or via webcam. While webcam requests are a small percentage, most of our students prefer in-person lessons, so we need local instructors who can host students and/or are willing to travel to students in the Nutley, NJ area. You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20 and $30 per hour depending on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate. You have the freedom to set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans! We also take care of all the advertising, marketing, SEO work, and billing to help lighten your load so you can focus on the music. Requirements Private piano instructor with proven teaching or performing experience Degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience (formal music training not mandatory) Strong communication skills and punctuality for all lessons Organized and adept at managing lesson plans and schedules Willingness to travel within the Nutley area for in-person lessons COVID‑19 Precautions You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
