School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | New Castle, Delaware

Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking at least five dedicated SLP professionals to deliver exceptional services on a contract basis. Whether you are seasoned with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll find a collaborative setting tailored to your strengths.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (for SLP roles)
Valid or eligible state licensure/certification as an SLP or SLPA
ASHA CCCs preferred for SLP roles, but Clinical Fellows and SLPAs are also encouraged to apply
Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations desired
Teletherapy experience is a plus for tech-savvy professionals
Strong communication and organizational skills
Passionate about helping children of diverse backgrounds succeed

Your Role Will Include:

Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine speech and language needs
Developing individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Providing direct intervention through individual and group therapy (onsite and/or via teletherapy)
Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
Supporting the school’s mission by making a positive impact with your clinical skills
